Aquarion watering waivers
If your sprinkler system uses water provided by Aquarion, you are only permitted to water 2 times per week. There are waivers that you can apply for that will allow you to water more often. You will need to go to the Aquarion website and apply for a waiver if you want it. WE CAN NOT DO IT FOR YOU. The link is at the bottom of this page.
Types of Waivers
New Planting Variance – Available for the spring and fall planting seasons. April 1st through June 15th and September 1st through October 31st. Applies to all sprinkler systems. You can also apply for a two week extension after the waiver expires. Hit the button at the bottom of this page.
Large Property Variance – Available to customers whose property is 2-acres or more and requires more irrigation than the mandatory schedule allows. Apply by hitting the button at the bottom of this page. Your sprinkler system should be evaluated by your irrigation professional prior to seeking this waiver.
High-Efficiency Variance – Available to customers whose systems include an approved U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) WaterSense® Weather-based controller running a schedule based on weather/site conditions in the weather-based function. Sprinkler systems of 12 zones or less can apply provided you have the appropriate controller. If your sprinkler system is 13 zones or more, Your sprinkler system should be evaluated by your irrigation professional prior to seeking this waiver
